Biographies are interesting because you discover facts you never knew about a person or place.  When we think of Molly Brown, we always think of the Titanic or Unsinkable Molly Brown, and her personal conflicts with J.J. Brown. Molly Brown was born Margaret Tobin in Hannibal, Missouri in 1867. She came from a poor Irish Catholic family with big dreams. Not too many people know she attended school until 13 years-of-age but believed in life long education. Molly was a very vocal, independent, courageous, generous, and adventurous. She loved the arts and civic causes. Molly became the first woman to run for Congress. She was also the voice for all women and paved the way for their future in the late 1800's and early 1900's.  She died in 1932, at the age of 65 from a stroke in New York. Have I revealed too much? You'll have to watch the movie and find out!
